INTERIOR DESIGNS

As an Interior Design Expert at Crate&Barrel, here are several projects I've completed for my clients. All of them beginning with an in-depth consultation either in-home, in-store, or virtually where I'm able to get a feel for the space and the end results the client is ultimately interested in.

 

My process includes taking thorough measurements of the space and its details while doing initial sketches of the layout. The consultation also includes going over any ideas the client has, inspiration images, color palettes, paint swatches, and fabric/wood swatches I've brought for them to look through.

 

I then take that back to the design desk in which I build a  2D floor plan using the software Floorplanner. I begin to make a mood board for the client and a product list of pieces and then place them in the rendering, sometimes including multiple layout options. This translates to the 3D design where I adjust lighting and shadows and choose rendering images that best capture the space.

 

All of these components go into a final presentation that I propose to the client within the given timeline at our follow-up appointment. In this phase, I discuss the budget, ETA and vendor lead times, any custom order pieces, and delivery planning.
