With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Apparel and Textile Design, I am interested in the idea that fashion can be used as a way of expression, showing personality, and in place of words. I've used this as inspiration for creating designs that achieve that level of non-verbal communication within my work, and by completing several design tasks, I've discovered my own individual design process that can be used as a foundation throughout my career. I’ve worked in the industry analyzing customer needs, designing, and problem solving, and the skills I’ve learned have not only been applied but strengthened with every opportunity.
